paramore

In memory of Mrs. Root

This goes out to Mrs. Root,
Who thought that by trying to hoot,
She could play the flute,
Under a tree of fruit,
Wearing a boot.

When i saw you

When I saw you, you just looked at me.
I smiled at you, you glanced
I waved at you, you just stared at me
I didn’t know my feelings for you then.

When I saw you, you stared at me.
I went shy.
You tried to reach my eyes
I turned them away.
You teased me, I just smiled.
It’s when my feelings came stronger.

I keep on thinking about you,
But you keep on hiding from me
It’s alright for me right now
However, I’m still waiting for you to come to me.
